How do I purchase individual tickets?

Follow these instructions:

  1. Visit https://www.qFLIXphilly.com/2020-qFLIX-xl-program/
  2. Click on any film title you are interested in and find the “BUY TICKETS and ALL ACCESS PASSES HERE” link.
  3. Click that link and it will land you on the GoElevent.com film description page. 
  4. Select your ticket quantity and click “Add to Cart”
  5. Review your selection and click “Checkout.”  Note, you will have 30 minutes to complete your order.
  6. Log-in to your Elevent account or register for an account if you have not done so already.
  7. Fill out your billing information and click “Complete Purchase.”
  8. A DONATION option appears that reads “Round up $0.00 as a donation to qFLIX 2020 XL Virtual Edition.” Donation of your change helps fund our festivals
  9. Once the transaction is complete, you will receive an email confirmation (with confirmation number). Please save for your records.

Note: If you purchase your ticket(s) before your selected film is available you will receive a second email with a link to VIEW the film and a VOUCHER CODE. If you purchase your ticket during the dates when the film is available for viewing, this email will be sent right away.  This link will take you to our watch portal, watch.qFLIXusa.com,. You will need to enter the voucher code here. The film description will appear and just click on PLAY when you are ready to start watching it.

How do I purchase ALL ACCESS passes?

Follow these instructions:

  1. Visit https://www.qFLIXphilly.com/2020-qFLIX-xl-program/
  2. Click on any film title you are interested in and find the “BUY TICKETS and ALL ACCESS PASSES HERE” link.
  3. Click that link and it will land you on the GoElevent.com film description page.
  4. On the top left side of the page find the PASSES button and click.
  5. Select the type of pass that best suits your needs
  6. Select your ticket quantity and click “Add to Cart”
  7. Review your selection and click “Checkout.”  Note, you will have 30 minutes to complete your order.
  8. Log-in to your Elevent account or register for an account if you have not done so already.
  9. Fill out your billing information and click “Complete Purchase.”

How do I use an ALL ACCESS pass?

Follow these instructions:

  1. After your Pass purchase is complete you will receive an email with the subject line stating “qFLIX 2020 XL Virtual Edition Portal Invitation”
  2. Open this email and locate the blue bar with the word “JOIN.” Click this bar.
  3. You will be directed to our viewing portal at watch.qFLIXphilly.com.
  4. Once there complete the registration by creating a password and clicking “CREATE ACCOUNT.”
  5. The viewing portal is hosted by Cinesend.
  6. This viewubg portal will give you access to screen all films according to their schedule.  Please note that not all films will be available at once as more films are added as the festival progresses.

How long do I have to view a film (Viewing Window)?

For Ticketholders, upon receiving confirmation, you will have 48 hours to complete the film.

For ALL Passholders you are not restricted to a viewing window time limit.

What is Elevent?

Elevent (AKA GoElevent) is the ticketing platform for this year’s qFLIX 2020 XL Virtual Edition. Tickets and ALL ACCESS Passes are purchase through their portal. Once you purchase a ticket or pass you will receive a confirmation email that details what you purchased and how much you spent—like a receipt.

What is Cinesend?

CineSend is our viewing platform which gives viewers a high quality in-home cinematic experience.

Are there Q&As with the filmmakers?

There will be virtual Q&As with filmmakers for select screenings. Check the film program for details on Q&As for specific films.

What If I didn’t receive an email confirmation after my purchase?

You should have received an email with the subject line: “Order Confirmation # – qFLIX 2020 XL Virtual Edition.” If you do not see this in your inbox, please check your spam folder. You can also check your Elevent order history page. Log in, and you will see a view button displayed with your order details. If you’re still experiencing issues, please contact us at box-office@qFLIXusa.com.

What do I do if I cannot find my voucher codes to access my selected films?

You can check your Festival’s Elevent order history page. Log in, and you will see a view button displayed with your order details

Are refunds or exchanges available?

There are no refunds or exchanges.

What is streaming?

Streaming simply refers to watching a film over your internet connection (instead of downloading a file to your computer). It is immediate and available on demand with any device that is connected to the internet. Any time you watch something on Netflix or YouTube, you are streaming.

What are the system requirements for streaming?

Compatible Operating Systems: Microsoft Windows 7 or later, Apple Mac OS 10.12 or later, Chrome OS

Compatible Browsers: Google Chrome, Firefox, Microsoft Edge, Opera, Safari (for Mac). We recommend using the latest version of your browser. Internet Explorer is not supported.

You can also watch films on Android tablets and phones using Chrome, and on iPhones and iPads using Safari.

Can I Chromecast content?

You can Chromecast from a Chrome web browser on PC and Mac computers as well as Android devices by selecting the cast button in the bottom right-hand side of the player.

Note: Due to licensing agreements, it is not guaranteed that you will be able to Chromecast from an iOS/Mac device.

Can I AirPlay to my Apple TV?

Yes. You can AirPlay from most browsers if you have Apple TV by selecting the cast button on the bottom right-hand side of the player.

Why does video playback stall or not play smoothly?

We use adaptive bitrate streaming which means the streaming quality will automatically adjust based on your internet speed. If your internet connection is poor or inconsistent you may experience problems during playback. If you’re on Wi-Fi, try moving closer to your router.

Can I watch your films from anywhere in the U.S.?

Yes, you can watch all films from anywhere in the U.S.

What time zone is the schedule using?

All times are based on Eastern Time (ET).

What happens if I forget my Elevent password?

Use the password reset option on the login page to reset your password. You will need access to the e-mail address you use to log in.

Why can’t I find the viewing links for the films in my order history on Elevent?

If you made your purchase within an hour of checking your order history on Elevent, it is possible the links have not updated to your account yet. Please use the viewing links provided by e-mail to you. A few minutes after completing a purchase, you are emailed a viewing link per film you have access to.
